Ecoblogical seems to offer valuable information but it bugs to know that there is not navigation menu available. I think that Ecoblogical should use summary instead of showing the entire post in the front page. This will enhance Ecoblogical’s page views.
Good luck.
Ecoblogical - 2008 - Would Marti start another one in 2009? Eco-information, I guess, don’t get dated. And if I were running this blog, I would have titled it is simply ‘Eco-blogical’ - the hyphen there is for phonetic convenience. That I wouldn’t have chosen such hybrid word is quite another matter.
Content is interesting, though some posts are a bit too long to sustain reader appeal, while some others leaves one wanting more. For instance, it is nice to read Joan Baez, Mel Gibson, Julia Roberts and scores of others have gone solar. But I would, wouldn’t you, want t read a bit about how some of them got to adopt solar technology.
Interesting posts such as ‘365 days of trash…’, suitably brief and well linked, tend to get obscured by longish copy/paste items picked up from official reports and sites. Such posts, I feel, could be shortened, giving links to their source for the benefit of those who want to full text.
Have I missed ‘About’ feature ? Or has the blogger not included it? I don’t know about others, among the first things I look for in a blog is the credentials of those running it.
Sidebar appears cluttered with announcements. ‘Blog Archive’ deserve a slot high up in the Sidebar. Or the blogger could have display of ‘Top/most read posts’.

The copy while just OK, could be improved by strengthening the pitch of the benefits to the user, both of the cookies and the indirect benefits of a donation to the cause. The writer should study copy writing for advertising, or get some help from a professional.
I felt the layout was OK. Nut I would have broken the copy up into smaller paragraphs so that it was easier to digest.

Hi,
I like the blog. I had linked to it just a few days ago. It doesn’t matter to me whether or not I end up in the hot seat. I understand that’s to help with traffic to my site and to get helpful suggestions, which is fine. I’ll give my suggestions here though in the spirit of being helpful rather than to get something in return.
I moved my Entrecard widget higher so it would show in the screen without having to scroll or page-down. It’s my understanding that Entrecard is becoming stricter about such things also. Their blog says they are blocking accounts first rather than notifying people to come up to speed on their rules. The rule is to have the widget above the fold.
Also, I have a BlogCatalog widget. I think it helps although in a more indirect way.
There’s no doubt my sight needs plenty of work. My To-Do list runs into pages and pages. It’s all a matter of spending the time while still keeping up on other things.
I hope the two suggestions are truly helpful.
Blessings to all,
Tom Usher
I like it. Having the RSS easily accessible is always a plus. The only thing I am not too much a fan of is the font/background of the posts. On a monitor with crappy resolution, it is a bit hard to read. Otherwise, nice site.

Thanks for featuring my site, ecoblogical, I really enjoyed reading the comments, have taken note, and will make changes. I wish there were more comments though so I could get a feel for which problems were noticeable to most people. One thing in particular ….I really don’t understand the process of building web traffic. I checked my stats and for many, many, many of the hits I got, people stayed for less than 1 minute. ??????? What is it about the site that causes people to leave in less than 1 minute? What can I do to get them to stay long enough to at least investigate the site? Thanks again, I appreciate the critiques so very much! Am subscribing to your blog!
