Spammer Or Not? Check It With TwitChuck

The increasing number of spammers on Twitter is becoming a major problem. Although Twitter takes a strong stand against spammers, a lot of them are still able to go off the radar.

If you are one of those who take on spammers seriously then TwitChuck.com is your friend. TwitChuck lets you check whether a Twitter user is a spammer or not. It also allows you to report spammers that will then be removed by the friendlist cleaner, which is due to be launched later this week.

I checked how TheWeblogZone is doing and here’s the result.

Do check your Twitter account and let me know how you scored. By the way, the scores are updated every 24 hours so don’t be surprised if you’re not a spammer today but you are the day after. It all depends on your behavior really.

But I like the idea of friendlist cleaner. Sometimes, I’m a bit leery checking which creepy creatures have followed me recently.

I kinda miss Britney Fuckd Vids. A lot of them used to haunt my follow list and no amount of blocking can stop them from replicating. But they’re gone now. Has Twitter finally wised up to its shenanigan? Oh well – maybe they’ve morphed into other user handles. lols

I really appreciate this blog. Now I’ve noticed that the other day I was spamming (not completely, but I had a couple of tweets that could be consided spam). This is enlightening!

wow! i cant believe it. spammers on twitter?! how about those nasty “bots” as jan called them that automatically retweets and joins conversations of twitter. they are also nasty people out there.
